History : The hotel FRANCOIS 1er is situated
on the former site of the Domaine d'Hure,
known as "Hostellerie des Rois et Princes"
where the Duc de Guyenne, brother of Louis
XI in 1469; Louis XI in 1472; François
1er, on two occasions, in 1519 and 1543;
Charles IX in 1569; Henri IV, Roi de Navarre,
from 1586 to 1589.
